During St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights celebration, Villa Zorayda hosts a series of “Candlelight Tours.”
For the sixth annual event, the villa is beautifully decorated with a spectacular Christmas Tree decorated in the colors of the Zorayda — red and gold — located center stage in the Court of Lions.
On tour nights, more than 100 candles are aglow throughout the museum as docents lead guests by candlelight on a tour of the historic former home located at 83 King St.
Refreshments are offered during some of the tours.
The first tour dates are Nov. 28, Dec. 2 and Dec. 5.
Christmas cookies, punch and coffee will be offered in the Nov. 28 and Dec. 5 tours. The cost is $18 for adults and $8 for children ages 7 to 12. Children ages 4 to 6 are free. Tours with refreshments start at 5:30 p.m.
Refreshments are not included in the Dec. 2 tour. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 7 to 12. Free admission for children ages 4 to 6. This tour starts at 6 p.m.
Candlelight tours are not recommended for children age 3 and younger.
