April 13 – Focus 450 announces Legacy Projects.
May 12 – Ground is broke for the Downtown Improvement District Project to enhance Hypolita Street for the 450th.
May 26 – Catherdral announces renovation plans for the 450th.
June 12 – Focus 450 launches 450 countdown with kick off reception.
June 17 – Community gathering on the eve of the Monson Motor Lodge & Restaurant civil rights demonstration.
June 18 – Meet & Greet for the 50th anniversary for the Largest Mass Arrest of Rabbis in the U.S.
July 15 – The Journey Exhibit closes and the artifacts of the exhibit are dispersed.
June 24 – Talks begin of a visit from King Felipe VI of Spain for 450th celebrations.
July 23 – 450th Youth Ambassadors make their debut performance with ‘Young Voices in the Old City.’
July 25 – The Woolworth’s lunch counter diorama featured in the Journey Exhibit finds its way back to its original location.
Aug. 2 – The El Espiritu ship is finally finished and ready to set sail.
Sept. 2 – 11 city delegates from Aviles, Spain come to St. Augustine to promote 450th events.
Sept. 6 – Founder’s Day was celebrated at the Fountain of Youth and Mission Nombre de Dios.
Sept. 8 – St. Augustine celebrates its 449th anniversary.
Sept. 9 – First day of the annual St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival.
Sept. 16 – St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation volunteers begin planking process for final stages of the Chalupa replica for the 450th.
