If you like barbecue and music, then the Rhythm & Ribs Festival is for you.
The event features kid-friendly activities, the people’s BBQ choice awards, vendors and even a mechanical bull. In its 21st year, the festival at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine is serving up award-winning barbecue from regional and national champions.
And did I mention that it was voted the best festival in St. Augustine in 2015.
Admission is $5 prior to 5 p.m. and $10 after. Children under 16 and active-duty military personnel are free. Veterans with identification are can get in for $2.
The event is organized by St. Augustine’s Sunshine Rotary and proceeds benefit several regional, national and international charities.
