Quilts for a Cause: Quilts for a Cause is a special exhibition honoring the work of Jacque Huber, who has generously donated a series of 17 of his hand-made quilts to be exhibited and raffled off to raise funds for the Cultural Center’s outreach programs. Each quilt is meticulously hand sewn with a beautifully created design and carefully chosen color palette. A preview exhibition and opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is free. Ballroom Dancing: The St. Augustine Ballroom Dance Association will celebrate its 35th anniversary, marking 420 months of uninterrupted monthly dances at the Riverview Club, 790 Christina Drive. The gala celebration will include music by Roy Olsson’s popular Nostalgia band, a reading of SABDA’s history and a display of photos going back to SABDA’s founding. Villa Zorayda ‘Behind the Scenes’ Tour: Docents will lead a “behind the scenes” tour at 9 and 9:30 a.m. at the Villa Zorayda, 83 King St. The highlight of the tour is the never-before-seen “Tower of the Princesses.” Guests will begin with the audio guided tour and conclude with the “Behind the Scenes” tour.
